    CSI has an immediate need for a QCA Application Software Tester.  This individual will be involved in the activities to execute and improve the QA/QC function.   Collaborating with analysts, developers, and system owners you will develop, implement and maintain standard software testing and QA/QC documentation.  Using standard QA/QC methodologies you will identify and resolve systems issues to ensure that applications meet business requirements, compliance and systems requirements.  The environment is team based, fast paced and deadline driven.   We are looking for someone that can find bugs in programs, find them fast and make sure they get fixed. 

    Responsibilities

    • Design and Develop Test Planning documents 
    • Knowledge of reviewing and providing inputs on the project requirements documents 
    • Expertise in creating the Test data planning for the planned teste cases. 
    • Expertise in Creating the Test Scenarios and Test Cases. 
    • Execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine optimal system performance according to specifications.
    • Conduct all types of application testing as needed, such as system, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
    • Produce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results and test planning activities
    • Expertise in defect logging and Tracking using Defect tracking tools and through manual process .
    • Take an active role in testing cross-departmental projects when needed.
    • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
    • Stay abreast of the constantly changing state of practices in technology.
    • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in user set up, creating test scenarios and assisting users with navigation through the system.
    • Able to provide Test planning and Execution effort estimates for planning and prioritization .
    • Understand, adhere to and implement security standards.
    • Able to create test cases from Acceptance Criteria.
    • Knowledge of creating and reviewing the requirements documents 
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by IT management.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 1 - 3 + years QA/testing experience.
    • Experience in the design, development, and implementation of software testing techniques.
    • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Software test professional certification is a plus.  
    • Experience with the Kanban framework a plus.
